Sundeep Morrison was born to Panjabi Sikh parents in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Their mother was a seamstress and father was a cab driver and often worked long late hours and they spent most of their time with thier maternal grandmother, her "Biji" who raised them. Biji would share childhood stories subtly interweaving them with cautionary life tales. Biji was Sundeep's best friend and mentor who instilled a love of their Panjabi heritage and culture. Those childhood lessons served as the blueprint for Sundeep to pursue their passion as a story teller and explore the nuances of a cross cultural and gender expansive indentity. Sundeep was inspired by their parents to write their solo show RAG HEAD which explores Sikhs in America and by their Biji and daughter to write their debut novel a feminist guidebook and memoir titled: Lady Bitch Whore. Sundeep resides in Los Angeles.
